Without an Advanced or Unlimited subscription, you can create a trial API token at Account → API Access. The token is shown once at creation and cannot be retrieved again.

Advanced / Unlimited users generate a production token at Account → API Access — no 7-day or 3-call cap, and the token can be replaced. The account page shows the production token when you have API access.
