Australian Electricity - New Daily Settlement Prices for $300 Cap and Peak Strip Futures Contracts

As per ASX Notice effective trade date 13 October, ASX will begin publishing daily settlement prices for the following Australian Electricity Strip Futures contracts:
- RN - NSW $300 Cap Electricity Strip Future
- RQ - QLD $300 Cap Electricity Strip Future
- RV - VIC $300 Cap Electricity Strip Future
- RS - SA $300 Cap Electricity Strip Future
- DN - NSW Peak Load Electricity Strip Future
- DQ - QLD Peak Load Electricity Strip Future
- DV - VIC Peak Load Electricity Strip Future
- DS - SA Peak Load Electricity Strip Future
Daily Settlement Prices will be determined according to the Energy Market Policy available here.
What do I need to do and buy when?
Customers and vendors should ensure their systems are updated to receive the new daily settlement prices.
The new Daily Settlement Prices will be available for testing by customers and vendors in the ASX 24 External Testing Environment from 29th September 2014.
