Learn more about the impact of Carbon and NSW privatisation of energy businesses

d-cyphaTrade is currently taking enrolments for its introductory level Electricity Futures & Options workshop in Melbourne.

Recent announcements confirming the NSW Privatisation of electricity owned businesses will have numerous impacts that will be discussed in this workshop:

  • Managing uncertainty over hedge book buy-outs
  • Managing credit default risk
  • Reducing NSW retailer MCL funding costs using (proposed) Futures Offset Arrangements

With the impending issue of Carbon and the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), d-cyphaTrade will cover issues such as analysing the impact of the proposed ETS on electricity futures prices and liquidity and the future profitability of generators and retailers in the NEM.
