Option Expiry Information

2008 OPTIONS EXPIRE - NEXT MONDAY - 19TH NOVEMBER 2007 at 12:00pm.

The last trading day and time (the Declaration Day) for 2008 Options - both Peak 1st Quarter 2008 and Base Load Calendar 2008 options, is 12:00pm on Monday the 19th of November 2007.

OPTIONS MUST BE MANUALLY EXERCISED.

OPTIONS NOT MANUALLY EXERCISED VIA AN OFFICIAL EXERCISE REQUEST WILL EXPIRE WORTHLESS (even if they are in-the-money).
Market Participants must notify their SFE Clearing Participant (Clearing Broker) of any Option Exercise Request. Options Exercise Requests must be lodged BY YOUR SFE CLEARING PARTICIPANT WITH THE EXCHANGE NO LATER THAN 1:30PM. Market Participants wishing to exercise prior to the last trading day may do so as long as the Exercise Request is lodged BY YOUR SFE CLEARING PARTICIPANT with the Exchange PRIOR TO 1:30PM on any given day (up to and including the last trading day). Please allow time for your SFE Clearing Participant to make this request.

If you are a holder of a short options position (which could be subject to assignment) your SFE Clearing Participant will be notified of any assignments by no later than 3:00pm on the expiration day. If an assignment occurs prior to the last trading day the notification (from your SFE Clearing Participant) will occur no later than 45 minutes prior to the commencement of trading on the next Business Day. Your SFE Clearing Participant will notify you of any assignment as soon as possible upon receiving notification of an assignment.
