FEES: AUD $1,000 (ex GST) per person/ per workshop. SAVE 20% if you register one person for both workshops (i.e. $800 per workshop).

WORKSHOP SUMMARY

1. ELECTRICITY FUTURES AND OPTIONS WORKSHOP

d-cyphaTrade runs introductory workshops designed to increase understanding of the d-cypha SFE Australian Electricity Futures and Options Products. This workshop is suitable for those recently enterred entities seeking to gain a generic overview of the market and for others seeking to improve their knowledge of the market will also find this workshop of interest.

2. ELECTRICITY OPTIONS TRADING WORKSHOP

The size of the d-cypha SFE electricity options market exceeds the option market of Nordpool, the world’s largest electricity derivative market, by 50% in MWh of Open Interest (January 2009). d-cyphaTrade began running Electricity Options Trading Workshops during 2008, providing an introduction to option hedging strategies for energy companies and option volatility trading techniques for financial trading specialists. The Options Trading Workshops provide practical electricity option trading insights rather than drawing heavily on theoretical options-related mathematics. During September 2008, options trading volumes (MWh) exceeded underlying NEM system demand.
