*IMPORTANT* Proposed Changes to Data Centre Daily Files

ASX currently distributes Daily Files containing end of day market data information to Data Centre subscribers. These files include:
- Settlement Files
- Closing Snapshot Files
- Open Interest Files
- Trade Log Files
ASX is evaluating enhancements to the way these files are distributed to customers in the Australian and New Zealand energy market based on customer feedback. The objectives of these enhancements are to:
- improve robustness - to ensure the accuracy and completeness of daily settlement price files prior to distribution and;
- maximise timeliness - to distribute the futures and options daily settlement price files to customers as soon as technically possible after the market has settled.
Please review the attached document which outlines the proposed enhancements to the existing Daily Files.
What do I need to do and by when?
ASX is seeking feedback from Data Centre subscribers on the proposed changes by cob Wednesday 6 August 2014. Kindly note, the impact of these changes may effect several departments within your organisation. Please ensure this document is distributed amongst the relevant people and departments.

ASX will consider all customer feedback to finalise requirements for the enhancements to the service. ASX will communicate to subscribers when the enhancements will go live.
